Learn MoreArt history graduate Madi Goetzke ’21 will spend a year as a Watson Fellow, traveling to UNESCO-designated World Heritage Sites in Panama, Malaysia, Nigeria, and Brazil. During her time at Oberlin, Goetzke was a museum docent and volunteer in the Education department, assisting with programs to improve visual literacy for K-12 students in Oberlin and Lorain County. After her Watson year, Goetzke has plans to pursue a PhD in art history and a career that will “make the arts into an accessible community resource.” Read the full story.
