To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the completion of the AMAM's Ellen Johnson Gallery and the Art Building addition by architects Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown, this exhibition includes architectural drawings and related documents from the AMAM's permanent collection as well as a selection on loan from the Venturi Scott Brown archives. These are shown alongside Cass Gilbert drawings for the original 1917 AMAM building and several whimsical drawings showing Claes Oldenburg's ideas for a proposed addition.
