Celebrate the Allen’s special loan of a remarkable red-figure drinking cup from the Cleveland Museum of Art. Join Emily French, Curator of Academic Programs, as she explores what this extraordinary vessel reveals about ancient Greek drinking culture, identity, and artistic representation. Featuring the paired faces of a satyr and an African man, the cup invites fresh conversations about mythology, social interaction, and conceptions of race in antiquity.
