NEOEA Day for K-12 Educators

Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

The Allen is partnering with the North Eastern Ohio Education Association to provide a workshop for educators to earn professional development hours (CEUs). The session, Look Close, Breathe Deep: The Art Museum as an Educational Resource, blends art, education, and meditation as we explore the museum’s renowned collection and ways to increase visual literacy in your students. Access Statement:
This event will be held in a wheelchair- and rolling walker-accessible building with wheelchair-accessible restrooms. Activities will be primarily in the East Gallery on the main floor. Restrooms are gender-specific; visitors are invited to use the restroom of their preference. No listening devices or ASL interpretation will be available at this event.
