Join us for a performative lecture by the artist, organizer, strategist, and educator yétúndé ọlágbajú. Through considered storytelling and interweaving of both artistic and scholarly archival materials, ọlágbajú provides strategies and frameworks for making work with and about ancestors like Edmonia “Wildfire” Lewis. This event is co-sponsored with Africana Studies, Afrikan Heritage House, and the Multicultural Resource Center, with support from the Reproducible Media Lab.
