An Oberlin tradition for more than 80 years, Art Rental provides opportunities to live with original works of art. This fall, each participant may choose one work from a random selection of five that will be brought out. In total, there are nearly 400 works in this collection earmarked specially for borrowing.
A $5 fee is due for each work rented. Cash or check only.
While Art Rental is primarily a student event, it is open to Oberlin College faculty and staff, as well as members of the community. Participants will be asked to show an Oberlin College ID card or proof of Oberlin residence.
Participants should line up outside the northeast doors in the rear courtyard, and will be admitted to Art Rental from there. Masks are required inside the building regardless of vaccination status.
Fall 2021 rentals must be returned to the museum on Wednesday, December 15, between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
