Do old, weathered, and broken things have their own special beauty? What are wabi-sabi and kintsugi? In this brief video, Kevin R. E. Greenwood, Joan L. Danforth Curator of Asian Art, will describe the aesthetic principle and Japanese ceramic repair technique using examples from our collection.
